Kindred Crossing Death Care

Custom Website Design

I collaborated with Rachel Morgan, a Portland-based death doula, to create an updated digital home for her business. The site needed to communicate sensitive end-of-life services with warmth and clarity while guiding potential clients through unfamiliar territory. The design balances professionalism with emotional connection, using photography to juxtapose human moments with vast natural beauty. Key features include clear service descriptions, helpful resources, workshops, and pathways for people at different stages of their journey.

The Homepage

After a concise overview of Rachel's core offer, a short poem by Mary Oliver—with plenty of negative space—serves as a threshold moment that leads into Rachel’s personal introduction. Strategic testimonials build trust, while clear calls to action guide visitors toward next steps in their end-of-life planning journey.
